Pooni Transport is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation of Goods: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Logistics and Record-Keeping: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and relay information to central dispatch.
- Cargo Handling: Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo, as well as transporting and handling dangerous goods.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records, including driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Certifications and Licenses: AZ class license.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Environment: On the road job, working 35 to 40 hours per week.
