Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at A1 BULLER AUTO COLLISION LTD. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use specialized tools and equipment to inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Advise Customers: Provide customers with information on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Complete Reports: Record problems and work performed in detailed reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy work site environment.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Support for Youth: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination and provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities and provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
