Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at SE Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our clients, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and support
- Develop and implement client-centered, goal-directed treatment programs to promote independence and functional ability
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote healthy habits and lifestyle changes
- Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy and a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therists of Ontario
- Recent experience in managing patients in acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs is preferred
- Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively with rehab assistants as well as with a high-performance interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset
- Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- A positive work and attendance record is essential
- Ability to adapt to new computer applications
