Accounting Manager

Western Park is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading our accounting team and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, required.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, an asset.
  • Proven competency with accounting software (preferably SAGE).
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accepted accounting rules, laws, and reporting requirements, preferably in a non-profit environment.
  • Proven skills in critical thinking, analysis, and reasoning.
  • Ability to adapt and commit to additional hours as required to support operations during peak times.
