- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer, with a strong background in embedded systems and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS), with hands-on experience in hardware systems design, product development, testing, validation, and design for manufacturing.
- Proficient in board development, schematic design, printed circuit board layout, RF layout, and manufacturing processes, with expertise in low-level hardware components and peripherals, including sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with microcontroller development, including ARM and PIC, and ultra-low power design methodologies, with familiarity with Cellular/Wireless technologies, GPS, and tracking applications.
- Power electronics circuit design, encompassing AC/DC and DC/DC power supply design, with technical documentation skills and proficiency in internetworking protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, etc.).
- Understanding of source control, parallel development, and release management techniques, with design adherence to standards such as UL, CE, and global wireless and safety standards.
- Strong testing skills, including unit testing, integration testing, and validation procedures to ensure the reliability and functionality of the firmware.
- Knowledge of Wireless Edge Access Protocols (LoRA, WIFI, RFID, Bluetooth, NB-IoT, etc.), with understanding and implementation experience with communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or protocols specific to IoT applications.
- Familiarity with CAN-BUS and OBD protocols, with experience with Altium Designer and Linux.
- Ability to develop low-level test software for hardware validation, with strong debugging skills using tools like GDB, JTAG debuggers, or integrated development environments (IDEs) specific to the target hardware.
- Knowledge of firmware security principles and best practices to safeguard IoT devices against potential threats and vulnerabilities, with knowledge of signal processing techniques.
