Farm Operations Manager at Dunphy's Poultry Farm Ltd.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our farm, including the supervision of staff, maintenance of equipment and facilities, and the implementation of best practices in animal care and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of farm staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Maintain and repair farm equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal working conditions and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve animal care and production, including the implementation of new technologies and best practices.
  • Manage the farm's feed inventory, including ordering and storage.
  • Monitor and report on farm performance, including production levels, animal health, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in managing farm staff and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of animal care and production practices, including best practices in poultry farming.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
