- Conduct presentations and facilitate workshops using storytelling to connect, influence, and engage the audience.
- Define value drivers and determine the boundaries of an opportunity to determine if it is worth further investment.
- Source information, plan, and conduct analysis to support evidence-based decision making.
- Determine the underlying cause of problems and evaluate multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
This role will be based in Saskatoon with regular visits to the Jansen mine site. The associated work schedule will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is standard for BHP.
RequirementsTo be considered, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or a trade equivalent.
- A high degree of business acumen with deep understanding of project execution risks and strong experience with vendor and contract management practices and processes.
- Deep understanding of the requirements to effectively manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product(s).
- Experience with underground communications, technology infrastructure, and mining systems.
- Experience with technology service management frameworks.
- Understanding of agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience leading teams and creating an environment of trust and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across relevant stakeholders.
