Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThis role will be part of CIBC's Client Account Management Department as a Credit Counsellor. You will connect with clients who own various CIBC products and discuss repayment options to potentially resolve outstanding debts.
You will ensure clients are aware of the terms and conditions of their contractual obligations and work to prevent further delinquencies.
CIBC has introduced a remote work program, allowing employees to work from home if they meet specific requirements. However, you must be able to attend your primary CIBC location within two hours upon request.
Requirements and Qualifications- You will work independently as an Agent @ Home with a secure workspace, free from distractions and noises.
- You will have a wired internet connection capable of supporting excellent call quality and high-speed response rates.
- You cannot use satellite internet providers due to potential impacts on call quality and service stability.
This is a full-time and shift-oriented role. You will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Our Contact Centre operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Your Responsibilities- Client Engagement: You will speak with clients to understand their priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide forward-looking financial plans.
- Call Ownership: You will respond to incoming calls or make outbound calls, taking complete ownership of each interaction in a friendly, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Problem Solving: You will act effectively by obtaining necessary information and using your network to identify and solve problems or needs.
- Relationship Building: You will engage in marketing and outreach activities to show clients you value them and their communities, growing your network, deepening existing relationships, and collaborating with others to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities.
