Job Title: Hotel Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Grand Forks Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
  • Co-ordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that all rooms and public areas meet our high standards.
  • Supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Co-ordinate contract services to maintain our facilities and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that we have everything we need to maintain our high standards.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that all linens and uniforms are clean and in good condition.
  • Co-ordinate dry cleaning and valet services to ensure that all guest items are cleaned and returned to them in a timely manner.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Respond to complaints from guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Flexibility, judgement, and reliability are essential for this role.
