Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Coordinator to join our team at the Hereditary Cancer Program. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating various clinical activities, ensuring seamless patient care, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, diagnostic tests, and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Process clinician orders, prepare requisitions, and communicate with patients and healthcare teams as needed.
- Organize and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication, coordination, and delivery of patient care.
Requirements
- Grade 12, medical terminology, and graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk Program, plus one year's recent, related experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and computer software applications.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism.
