Job Summary

As a Civil Engineer Technician at Ville de Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, you will play a key role in the realization of the City's five-year immobilization plan (PQI). Under the supervision of your manager, you will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the successful execution of planned operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the PQI, ensuring alignment with the City's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and prioritize projects, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues, ensuring high-quality work products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a municipal or government setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
