Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shift Manager to join our team at The Sequence Pizza. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure that the restaurant is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
- Maintain Quality and Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity is essential.

The Shift Manager will be responsible for recruiting and supporting newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, and for providing support with foreign credential recognition.
