About the Role:

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Manager Trainee to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our multi-family residential communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction through excellent customer service and communication.
  • Leasing and Vacancy Management: Ensure vacancy goals are met by showing available suites and administering leasing applications.
  • Move-In and Move-Out Coordination: Assist with scheduling, coordination, and inspections for all move-in and move-out activities.
  • Grounds and Common Area Maintenance: Regularly inspect grounds, interior hallways, and common areas, and make recommendations for physical repairs and/or replacement.
  • Unit Readiness: Confirm that all vacant units/areas are ready to lease.

Requirements:

  • Management Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role.
  • Resourcefulness and Adaptability: High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Technical Skills: Effective computer skills, including experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience using an ERP considered an asset.
  • Professionalism and Diplomacy: High degree of professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle: A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
