Job Summary

JP SEKHON TRANSPORT LTD. is seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units and truck-trailer systems.
  • Parts Replacement: Replace parts and components as needed to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
