Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at JP Sekhon Transport Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including truck-trailer systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, and perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. We offer a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek, and a language of work in English.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced maintenance environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
