We are seeking a highly skilled Nourishment Specialist to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health.
Job SummaryThe Nourishment Specialist will be responsible for providing expert nutrition care and education to clients, while also collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective nutrition programs.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition care plans
- Provide nutrition education and support to clients, promoting healthy eating habits and self-management skills
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address nutrition-related issues
- Develop and implement nutrition programs and services that meet the needs of diverse populations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition care
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Ecology or Nutrition
- Registration with a regulatory body, such as the College of Dietitians of Manitoba
- Minimum of three years' experience in a clinical setting, working with healthcare teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
