Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Operations Assistant to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits, developing budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and evaluating daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Set staff work schedules
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Leading/instructing individuals
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience

Work Environment:

  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language
