Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Roys Indian Restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance on customer service, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all customers.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English language.
