Dry Cleaning Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning Technician to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort. As a key member of our laundry team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of dry cleaning and laundry services for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to clean and finish garments.
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are properly cleaned and pressed.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are ready for delivery to our guests.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our establishment standards.
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure accuracy.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles to maintain quality control.
  • Use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles to ensure they are perfect.
Requirements:
  • Will train on the job to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
