About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Operations Strategist to oversee the daily operations of our farm, including the elevator and seed plant, agronomy, trucking, and repair and maintenance departments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and be able to develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations, align with organizational goals, and ensure profitability and sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations and improve efficiency
  • Oversee the management of all equipment, land, and buildings to maximize productivity and minimize costs
  • Lead crop selection, seeding operations, spraying operations, and harvest operations to ensure high yields and quality production
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, analyze financial data, and implement cost-saving measures to enhance profitability
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration or Management, or other relevant field
  • Proven progressive leadership experience in building highly productive and engaged teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship building skills
  • Strategic thinking abilities, with the ability to analyze data, think critically, solve problems, and make well-informed decisions
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, bonuses, and opportunities for professional development.
