About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished Academic Professional in Criminology to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be expected to teach core courses in criminology, as well as courses from their area of specialization. The department has teaching needs in various areas, including Indigenous justice, youth justice, crime analysis, victimology, corrections, justice policy, ethics, and research methods

Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting scholarly research, and contributing to the advancement of the department through a productive research agenda. They will also be expected to develop a record of effective student supervision and mentorship, as well as participate in department, faculty, and university-level service consistent with their rank.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a PhD in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or a closely related discipline. Experience working with Indigenous and diverse populations is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Benefits:

The University of Regina offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
