Gas Station Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales and Service Manager to join our Esso Gas Station team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns to maintain an efficient and well-stocked store.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.
Our Esso Gas Station is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Retail Sales and Service Manager, you will be working in an air-conditioned store with a team of dedicated staff. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
