We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team at Yusen Logistics (Canada) Inc.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving products/goods within the CFS (container freight station), ensuring total customer satisfaction, and applying good business practices to align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform total warehouse operational duties, including forklift driving, RF Gun operation, sorting, putting away items, storage, order picking and packing, and shipping/receiving of products/goods coming into and going out of the warehouse.
  • Maintain compliance with freight and shipping guidelines in accordance with company and government policies.
  • Support proper security and good housekeeping of both premises and stock.
  • Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.
  • Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
  • Enter quantity received against the purchase order in the computer system and print back order and inventory stock put away list.
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of shipment files and completion of data entry within YUNAS or other company system.
  • Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
  • Safely operate all necessary equipment in the work area.
  • Understand and comply with all Company Policies & Procedures, including Health & Safety.
  • Understand and comply with Kaizen standards and requirements.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • The incumbent must hold and maintain current forklift certification for Reach, Walkie, Counterbalance with clamp if assigned to driving any forklift.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension of the English language is required.

Work Environment:

This role requires working 37.5 hours per week, with additional and/or extended work time as the business dictates, including weekends and evenings.
