Job Summary

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Resource Management Group (RMG) as an Analyst or Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading, structuring, and pricing second-order counterparty related risks (CVA, FVA, KVA, and ColVA) of all derivative asset classes globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run on-desk processes related to pricing derivatives and generating and managing XVA and MCAD risks
  • Run processes to aid in collateral optimisation
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the desk through related project-based work
  • Improve the efficiency of the desk through tactical process improvements
  • Pricing CVA, FVA, and KVA for all derivative asset classes in RBC's businesses globally
  • Liaise with our Quant team to maximise practical utilisation of available functionality
Requirements
  • A degree in a highly numerate discipline, such as engineering, science, mathematics, or economics
  • Knowledge of XVA and all aspects of derivative pricing, including related regulation (Basel III, etc.) in a front office context
  • Knowledge of collateral optimisation in a front office context
  • Basic programming skills in Python, VBA, or similar
  • Experience with Bloomberg or other trading floor systems
