Accounts Payable Supervisor

Hakim Optical is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule Work: Coordinate and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of financial transactions.
- Train Workers: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and submit accurate financial reports to management.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and coordinate maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
- Financial Transactions: Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
