About the Role

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead the implementation of the Ministry of Health's mNPR initiative. As a key member of the Fraser Health mNPR Project Leadership Team, you will be responsible for supporting the work of the team and providing expert advice and guidance to inform the implementation plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and expert advice to support the implementation of mNPR across nursing practice areas in Fraser Health.
  • Execute priority tasks from the mNPR implementation plan to ensure reporting and monitoring as required.
  • Collaborate with key partners, including union representatives, and services to implement, monitor, report, and evaluate mNPR.
  • Provide implementation progress reports, identify barriers and risks, and report findings to the Fraser Health mNPR Project Leadership Team.
  • Facilitate communication and feedback loops within Fraser Health, between nursing practice areas, and the mNPR Project Leadership Team.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a master's degree and ten years of recent experience in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Five years of progressive project and/or change management leadership experience.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate policy, processes, and guidelines.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and build consensus across nursing areas of the organization.
  • Knowledge and understanding of nursing legislation, statutes, regulations, professional standards of practice, and how nursing practice contributes to quality of patient care.
