Overview

Fraser Health seeks a collaborative Project Director to lead the Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratio (mNPR) Implementation. This role will mobilize and advance all elements of the implementation, applying strategic project direction and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilize and work together with key internal corporate teams, sites, and union representatives to support the implementation.
  • Communicate risks and barriers to inform actions and mitigation plans.
  • Provide effective leadership, expert advice, and problem-solving in the implementation of mNPR across nursing practice areas.
  • Execute priority tasks from the mNPR implementation plan to ensure reporting and monitoring.
  • Promote mNPR as an attribute of a compassionate quality learning environment.
  • Guide and lead the assigned areas from the mNPR implementation project team and act as a liaison across nursing practice areas.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a master's degree and ten years of recent experience in complex healthcare environments.
  • Five years of progressive project and/or change management leadership experience.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate policy, processes, and guidelines.
