About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Service Technician to join our team at Citywide Automation Inc. As an Installation Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment, diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust or replace telecommunications equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults, analyze test results, and adjust or repair switching systems, networks, and associated equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, ability to distinguish between colors, and valid driver's license.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, organized, reliability, and team player.
