About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at ARS Repair and Installation Services Inc. As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Written Estimates: Develop detailed estimates of repair costs for customers.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Use schematic drawings and product manuals to repair and maintain electrical appliances and components.
  • Diagnose Faults: Utilize testing devices to diagnose faults and identify areas for repair.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by advising customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience working with small appliances.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel and have travel expenses paid by the employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work environment requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, and a team player.
