Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Esso Whitecourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures, planning and developing recruitment strategies, and managing training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR metrics and trends
  • Respond to employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Organize and facilitate staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure successful outcomes
Work Environment

The Human Resources Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
