**Job Summary**
Island Health is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team at the Comox Valley Hospital. As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide anesthesia services for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, and Orthopaedics
- Assist with emergency intubations in the ER and ICU
- Run a consultation clinic and an out-of-OR position designated as Rover
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekday and weekend coverage
**Requirements**
- Recent (within 6 months) pediatric (2 years and older) and obstetrical experience
- Demonstrate a plan to update skills if not currently up-to-date
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
