Job DescriptionIn this role as a software security developer, you will be responsible for contributing significantly to the design, development, and maintenance of our Vision One Container Security offering. You will create robust solutions that secure containers throughout their lifecycle, influence architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and guide diverse co-op students and interns.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including product managers, and other engineers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable solutions using best practices and industry standards.
- Take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
- Write non-application code, such as infrastructure as code, metrics, monitoring, alarms, etc.
- Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support and debug customer-reported issues as well as internally created service incidents.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of two years of full-time professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on backend development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming and scripting languages.
- Skilled in automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business priorities, with the ability to pivot quickly and effectively under shifting demands and tight deadlines.
