About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Foreman to join our team at Hall Mechanical Services Inc. As a Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of building mechanical systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with specifications and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain scheduled installations of building mechanical systems
  • Install all materials, equipment, and systems in a proficient and correct manner
  • Report directly to the Superintendent for mentorship and guidance
  • Diagnose design issues and identify problems with plumbing, gas, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Supervise workers and projects, train or arrange training, and coordinate manpower
  • Responsible for testing all mechanical systems to meet local jurisdictions and engineer specifications
  • Impart efficiencies and cost-saving measures to the Superintendent or Project Management team
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics and specifications
  • Complete projects above client and company expectations
  • Foster and grow relationships with clients and colleagues
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in a foreman or lead hand role
  • Registered Plumbing Journeyperson
  • Basic security clearance and clean drivers abstract
Technical Skills
  • Experience in safely working in and around construction sites
  • Knowledge and skills of industry-standard safe work practices
Interpersonal Skills
  • Great attitude towards safety
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
