Mechanical Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to join our team at Hall Mechanical Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a crew of plumbers, overseeing the installation of building mechanical systems, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of plumbers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Oversee the installation of building mechanical systems, including plumbing, gas fitting, and HVAC.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Plan and coordinate sub-trades, identifying efficiencies and cost-savings to maximize project success.
- Supervise workers and projects, arranging training sessions and coordinating manpower scheduling with the developer/general contractor.
- Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork, including HSE reporting, 3-week lookaheads, and QA/QC.
- 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman or in a Lead Hand role on residential multi-unit or commercial sites.
- Red Seal Plumber Certification.
- Positive and driven leader with experience managing small teams and projects.
- Proficiency in plumbing installations, plumbing code, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong understanding and exposure to industry safe work practices.
- Outstanding time and project management skills to complete work on time and within budget.
