Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to ensure the optimal performance of our systems.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize system performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably in the water treatment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and electrical control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
