About the Role

FirstOntario Credit Union Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Services department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our business members and driving sales growth through strategic relationships and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with existing clients, and develop strategic plans to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Credit Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct thorough credit analysis, assess risk, and make sound recommendations to support business objectives and provide full service to our members.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the management and administration of commercial loans within your portfolio, ensuring timely completion of annual reviews and implementation of risk mitigating strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Credit Department, Management Credit Committee, and Board, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of business objectives.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and provide value-added services to our members.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce, and/or Economics, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience: 4-8 years of experience in Business/Commercial banking or equivalent industry experience, with a strong business acumen and sales/business development experience in the Commercial banking industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
