Health and Environmental Risk Management Specialist

Thermon is seeking a skilled Health, Safety and Environment Specialist to join its Canadian HSE Team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning and implementing Thermon's Canadian and Global HSE programs, policies, procedures, and processes, as well as industry best practices for the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain credible relationships with key stakeholders in the organization through trust, consistency, collaboration, effective communication, and results.
- Work with the Canadian HSE Team to develop, implement, and administer Thermon Canada HSE practices and processes, including policies that align with Company goals to drive the business.
- Advocate and drive for the resolution of HSE issues and concerns, including internal investigations, corrective actions, and coaching.
- Champion and model our core values, engraining them into the culture and the psyche of the organization.
- Provide full-service HSE support for Thermon's operations in Edmonton, Calgary, and Fort McMurray.
- Manage and continuously improve COR certified HSE program.
- Assist with the development and review of Job Hazard/Risk Assessments and Safe Work Practices.
- Maintain all Company safety certifications and training, as well as all applicable documentation and records.
- Evaluate and manage sub-contractors.
- Manage WCB claims and support managers and supervisors in the safe and early return to work of injured employees.
- Manage online compliance sites such as ISNetworld, Avetta, Complyworks, etc.
- Visit customer/project sites to ensure compliance to legislated and Thermon requirements.
