We are seeking a skilled General Duty Sonographer to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing ultrasound services to patients, working under the general supervision of the Manager, Charge Technologist or designate.

The ideal candidate will have previous related experience and be a graduate of an approved and accredited Ultrasound training program.

Active registration status with Sonography Canada in the appropriate practitioner category is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound services as defined at regional and local levels and as requested by Physicians
  • Effective patient management, exam requests, diagnostic file management, equipment and supplies management
  • Maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines and ensure compliance with quality assurance program

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
