Your Role

">Materials Planner is responsible for planning procurement and delivery of raw materials and packaging to meet production schedules. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient production, preventing shortages or excess inventory. This hybrid role requires working 2+ days per week onsite at our Brampton, Ontario facility.">

About You

">You may have experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or the food industry, seeking a growing industry leader. Alternatively, you could be a Materials Planner transitioning into the dynamic and evolving ingredients and food industry. Either way, you're ready to apply your expertise in Management Requirements Planning and interpreting ERP-generated Planned Orders in a scaling organization where you can advance your career.">

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all material requirements, including sales orders and changing customer needs impacting inventory and past/current product availability issues.">
  • Support the execution of the S&OP demand plan and production schedule through accurate and efficient inbound materials planning.">
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels, based on production planning, ordering and maintaining materials for timely delivery.">
  • Manage costs and day-on-hand (DOH) availability for all materials within your assigned purchasing portfolio.">
  • Communicate inventory delays to Production Planning and work together to expedite or de-expedite orders, coordinate customer action plans, and ramp strategies up or down.">

Your Qualifications

">Material Requirements Planning (MRP), purchasing, and logistics experience are essential. A background in Supply Chain Management is also beneficial. Your technical skills include proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics. You must be able to balance competing demands and shift priorities in response to changing customer needs and supply chain parameters.">
