Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1919598 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, addressing their complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of food quality and safety, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ingredients, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, including cost estimates and financial reports, to ensure that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop our food service staff, including new hires and existing team members, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.
