Job Summary

Taco Boyz is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they receive a positive experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Food Order Management: Prepare and submit food order summaries for the chef, and supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
