The salary for this role is approximately $85,000 per year, plus opportunities for bonuses and benefits.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Banking Advisor to join our team at RBC in Oakville. As a Banking Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on their banking needs, including everyday banking, credit, and investment services.

You will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and develop personalized solutions to meet their needs. This includes identifying sales and referral opportunities, providing education and demonstrations on financial products, and responding to client-initiated contact.

In addition, you will cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to make the most of business opportunities and referrals. Your ability to build strong relationships, problem-solve, and communicate effectively will be essential to your success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mutual Funds accreditation (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
  • Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, as well as success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment
  • Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
