We're seeking an experienced Academic Program Manager to join our team in the Faculty of Skills and Foundational Learning. This full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary range of $111,219 - $139,052.


Job Description


The Academic Program Manager will assist in leading the Faculty, acting as an internal and external liaison, supporting planning and staff development, and working with other NorQuesters to establish and implement goals and objectives.


This role focuses on enrolment management, academic policy implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the learning environment, and furthering our work towards Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Anti-Racism, Decolonial Indigenization.


Responsibilities



  • Provide input, guidance, feedback, and unit perspectives related to Program Development & Review, Faculty Development, Educational Technology, Work Integrated Learning, Community Service Learning, and the future direction and implementation of Reimagine Higher Education.
  • Support senior leadership in administrative and operational leadership, fiscal planning, and management within the faculty.
  • Ensure maintenance of an effective learning environment.
  • Resolve academic appeals.
  • Support program reporting, Faculty assignments, external Program Approvals (accreditation).
  • Manage Timetabling activities in collaboration with the Office of the Registrar, faculty, and staff.
  • Provide operational execution and oversight of the strategic enrolment management plan and priorities.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Master's in Education is preferred.
  • Permanent teaching certificate.
  • Leadership, management, and supervisory experience in a post-secondary environment supporting adult learnings from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience teaching in online environments.
