Job Title: Truck Drivers Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Flatbeds Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Truck Drivers Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our truck drivers, ensuring that they are equipped to handle the demands of the job and providing guidance and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe working environment
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure the team is working effectively
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals to minimize downtime
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
