Wood Construction Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Wood Construction Specialist to join our team at MD Howe Construction. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wood construction projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute wood construction projects, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Supervising other workers and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
