The salary for this position will be determined based on qualifications held by the employee, paid according to the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement. The rate is outlined below:

  • Undergraduate rate: $*/hour (employees without a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree)
  • Graduate rate: $*/hour (employees with a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree)

The duties and responsibilities of this role include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time. These tasks involve preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration required.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have achieved a minimum of 80% in the course, be at least a fourth-year student currently enrolled in Computer Science with a major average of 75%, or have completed a Computer Science Degree. Effective communication skills, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines are essential requirements for this role.
