Job Title: Flooring Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at BUZZ 4 CONSTRUCTION LTD. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient floor coverings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, hardwood floors, and resilient floor coverings
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week

Work Environment: The Flooring Specialist will work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads.
