Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at BUZZ 4 CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, tile, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment:

Our team works in various locations, including residential and commercial settings. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be required to work on-site, handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment.
