Branch Manager Opportunity

Unified Valve Group Ltd. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Fort St. John branch. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, profitability, and strategic growth of the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and meet branch budget, ensuring control of expenses.
  • Engage in business development through effective networking and growing contact lists.
  • Prioritize and coordinate operational and maintenance activities.
  • Accurately invoice orders in a timely manner.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach branch personnel, including onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Adhere to the Quality and Safety Program, including inspections, reporting, training, and record keeping.
  • Ensure employees are adequately trained and have necessary resources to perform duties.
  • Maintain communication with Senior Management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of strong business management experience with P&L accountability.
  • Proven track record managing in an industrial oil and gas environment.
  • Ability to step in and work in the shop when needed.
  • Aptitude for business development.
  • Previous experience with PRV, PSV, and API/ANSI valves an asset.
  • Unified Valve Group Valve Tech 1, Tech 2, and Tester Training Program, or equivalent training, an asset.
  • Must meet or be able to meet the requirements of the Basic and Advanced training as per AB 524.
  • Exceptional communicator and customer service oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Very strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and technology quickly.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with MS Great Plains Dynamics an asset.
