About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Culinary Expertise: Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standard and meet customer expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, considering dietary requirements and allergies.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant culinary certifications.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development. Our benefits package includes a comprehensive health and dental plan, paid time off, and access to ongoing training and education.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week. Work schedule may vary based on business needs. Public transportation is available nearby.
